AL Wa’ad Society for Cancer Advocacy and Survivorship held a summer camp on 16-17/6/2012 at Yajouz for girls from 15-18 years old.

To educate participants about the seriousness of cancer and its symptoms and the importance of early detection and on changing behaviors and patterns of everyday life, in addition to focusing on the importance of community participation in all matters and volunteer activities relevant and increase leadership skills and self-development and rehabilitation to activate their role in tobacco control, the number of posts about 25 girls who aged between fifteen and even seventeen daughters of patients with cancer, children of volunteers or those who have the desire of young to join the voluntary work and patients with cancer as well tobacco control and to participate in community-based programs various related.

Summer Camp this had been done by implementing modern training methods such as open dialogue, participation, practical applications, and films in addition to lectures.
