Being diagnosed with cancer is one of the most difficult challenges faced by human and becomes a big change in their life, mentally, physically and socially. So the cancer survivors may be supportive of those who have been diagnosed with the disease, as the support for patients and their families can help improve the lives of people whose lives may be exposed to cancer.

There are many men and women or family member who were diagnosed with cancer that may have dedicated their time and effort to volunteer at the Al Wa’ad Society as they provide psychological support to these people and their families who have fallen ill from the moment of diagnosis to post-cured in many hospitals in Jordan through individual support or in groups in order to allow for the survivors of the disease to share their experiences, and feelings with the disease and be part of the community; cancer survivors and supporters, friends and society in general can help to make life go better for these patients and so that others can continue in hope of life.
